When the silver spoon is born again

– POEM –

Another creation of mine that falls into the category I call “children’s stories for grown-ups.” This one’s a dessert spoon with super powers! You should know me well enough by now to know I’m not joking.  I’ve been writing poems for David the Fantastic Spoon (or DTFS as his cape is adorned) for about 20 years now, on and off.

In this poem, David’s taken some time off from saving the world from the likes of Mullet Man (a living hairdo bent on worldwide domination) and the machinations of his arch enemy, Fork Woman. David’s become a high-powered whizzspoon in the City.
